A duelist has to be in top physical form. Having a good physical form naturally comes with good mental concentration. And the best way to get into the top physical form is training, he thought.
Standing in a small clearing with six trees circled around him, he pulled out his tonfas with his eyes closed. Counting in his head, 3, 2, 1, go! he opened his eyes as he beat the trees down simultaneously as each of them toppled over and landed on one another creating a huge teepee.
The man, middle-school second year height stood there, with his eyes closed, not even breaking a sweat. A white dress shirt tucked into black dress pants. The Obelisk-Blue uniform wrapped over his shoulder,s top button, buttoned around his neck.
He exhaled slowly and regained a steady breathing rate again in no more than 5 seconds.

Michael walked up the mountain trail, once again out exploring his new home. He had just come back from trading in his decks, so he was using the one he was saving for special occasions. Well, that would be now, because he spotted an Obelisk playing lumberjack. He walked up, not even caring about the dorm difference.
"You there, Obelisk. You look bored. How 'bout a duel?" he asked, already readying his duel disk. He was determined to prove himself to at least one person, and if it meant taking on an Obelisk, that's what he would do.

He looked over at the kid, "I'll bite you to death" he told him as he activated his duel disk.
He drew his starting hand and drew another, "First turn is mine, I'll set a monster and activate Six Samurai United, turn end," he finished quickly.

"Very well. One monster set, 2 cards facedown," Michael said, placing the cards and trying to remember the strategy for Six Samurai decks, so he would know what to do.

"My turn, draw," he said as he drew his next card "I activate the spell card, Gateway of the Six and--" he started but he was interrupted by his opponent.

"--and nothing, Mystical Space Typhoon activates and destroys Gateway of the Six," Michael said.

"Very well, I summon The Six Samurai - Zanji in attack mode and I'll attack your face-down, turn end," he finishes.

"Facedown is Batteryman AAA, his effect is activated which allows another to be summoned, placed in defense mode," Michael said, then drawing his next card for his turn. "One monster set. Turn end," he said.

"Draw! The Six Samurai Nisashi and activate the effect of Six Samurai United. I shall send Six Samurai United's effect and draw two cards. Now go Nisashi attack Batteryman AAA and with his effect since another Six Samurai is on the field he will attack the other monster as well," he said as the face-down had flipped up. Batteryman Micro-cell. Batteryman D popped up in defense position. "Zanji attacks your Batteryman D. With Zanji's effect Batteryman D is destroyed at the end of the damage step," he said as he took 100 life points himself. "I'll throw a card face-down turn end," he finishes.

"Draw 1 card from Micro-cell. Then at the end of your turn, activate Portable Battery Pack. Batteryman D and Batteryman AAA return to the field. Now, draw for my turn," he said, confident that he could come back from this slight disadvantage. "Special summon Batteryman Fuel Cell. Then remove AAA and Micro-cell from my graveyard to special summon Batteryman Industrial Strength. Tribute AAA to return Nisashi back to your hand, and then remove AAA from the graveyard to destroy your other two cards. Now D goes to defense position," he said, and then smiled maliciously. "Now Fuel Cell attacks your facedown monster!" he said, which was revealed to be Shien's Footsoldier. Spirit of the Six Samurai appeared in defense mode, causing Michael to let out a "Tch" noise. "Industrial strength gets rid of that thing," he said. He was slightly disappointed he didn't get any damage in, but glad that his opponent's field was now empty.

An empty field, five cards in hand. His opponent obviously had the greater advantage. "Draw!" he called as his hand was finally complete. "Time to bite you to death," he tells him.
"I summon The Six Samurai Kamon in attack position, with Grandmaster of the Six Samurai's effect I can special summon it. Now with Kamon's effect I can destroy your Portable Battery Pack, which then automatically destroys your Batteryman D. Next I'll special summon Great Shogun Shien in attack position and activate the spell card, Cunning of Six Samurai. With this I'll send Kamon to the graveyard and special summon The Six Samurai Zanji. Now I'll remove Kamon and Spirit of the Six Samurai and special summon Enishi, Shien's Chancellor in attack position," he said finishing his summonings
"Now for the effect, Enishi can destroy one face-up monster once per turn, but once that effect is activated it can not attack. I'll destroy Industrial Strength!" he called as he finished with the effects.
"Attack! Great Shogun Shien attacks Fuel Cell, Zanji and Grandmaster attacks you directly for a total of 4300 points of damage!" he finished. "Turn, end." he didn't want to go all out right from the start... but it had to be done being at such a disadvantage.

Michael yelled out in disgust, but continued on anyway, drawing his next card, which was most likely to be his last at this rate. "Set one monster face down, and activate Battery Charger. Bring Fuel Cell back from the graveyard in defense position. Done," he said. He knew he was going to lose next turn, but there was nothing he could do.

"Draw!" he called "I summon The Six Samurai - Nisashi in attack position. Nisashi attacks Fuel Cell and your face-down monster," he said as the face-down Micro-cell was destroyed and a Batteryman D was special summoned. "Zanji attacks Batteryman D and with Zanji's effect Batteryman D is destroyed. Grandmaster and Enishi attacks you directly, game over," he finished as he put his cards away and de-activated his duel disk.
"You're not all that bad," he told him, "You deserve to be in Obelisk instead," he said as he started to breath a little heavier. Being near the top of the mountain took the air out of you... it was hard to breath... but with his insane stamina it wasn't too much of a problem... but that wasn't to say for the other guy.

Michael deactivated his duel disk as well, and called out to the other boy, "Nice to finally get some recognition around here, but these aren't my cards. My old decks were weak, and I'm working on a new one." He then turned and walked away, chest starting to feel heavy from the lack of oxygen.

The Obelisk took a few moments as he pulled his tonfa and dragged down another set of trees before he went back to his dorms. Training, complete, he thought, I should get that kid's name sometime, he finished his thoughts.
